A tactile, knowledgeable and left-field illustrator, Mark is well versed in both traditional drawing and digital techniques. His native Lochaber’s natural surroundings have played an important driving force in his work’s inspiration & practice.

“I’m an illustrator with a tactile tendency. All of my output stems from my nurtured lifelong passion for drawing & sketching. I love weaving my characters into offbeat narratives & trudging through grand landscapes in my work - both imagined & physical. Originally from Fort William, I have been based in Glasgow for 5-6 years, working across the mediums of comics, animation, posters, cover-art, clothing & packaging.”

Mark holds keen historical interests in 80s alternative Japanese manga and mid- century Czech-Slovak illustration and graphic arts.
